It was great to see so many Bexley residents making use of the Dual Stream Recycling Pop-Up sites at Mill Road Car Park, Northumberland Heath and Westwood Lane Car Park, Welling on Saturday 18^th July. We had a phenomenal response from everyone that attended on Saturday, across both sites, and we would like to offer our thanks for your continued support and understanding.

The overwhelming response from residents was one of gratitude, with people stopping our workers to express their appreciation and to chat with our teams.

One Bexley resident said “For those who are planning on taking up this offer please be nice too the bin men or women. Remember they are not the one on strike their just trying to help.Ps I you feel like getting them some water it would most definitely be appreciated.”

Another said “Went to Mill Road today. The guy was incredible helpful. Well done”

We would like to offer a HUGE thank you to our Countrystyle recycling teams who have worked so hard to provide these additional services on a Saturday, managing the sites in the extreme heat and with big smiles on their faces!

Most of all, thank you to the residents of the London Borough of Bexley, for your support and positive comments during the current strike action.
